I have found it

Hello again lovelies! Long time no blog! I'm thankful finals are over now! Just to let you all know, every quarter during finals week, there will be no blogging. No offense, but I actually enjoy sleeping from time to time, especially the week when I have tests.

This week though, I finished working with Kooza Sunday night. I was sad to see it being torn down, =(, but the show must go on elsewhere! If Kooza or any Cirque show ends up by you, it's worth every penny to go see it! I glady would've paid to go see it, had I not been able to see it for free.
Right now I'm up north in the lovely lovely Ventura, and I have found some amazing things to show you all.

For those that don't know, any kind of pant, work, jeans, whatever, they just don't work for me, unless they're pajama pants. Since I can't wear those with my nice shirts, my nice shirts have not seen the light of day for some time.
While walking around today, I found AMAZING deals for $50 or less.

Ventura Deals

$50 or Less
Salvation Army Coalition Store

BDG Jeans: $5.00

Funny story, my boyfriend couldn't stand thrift stores once upon a time. He used to say they smelled, were cramped, and he doesn't like taking time to dig. Then one day I dragged him with me, and we found a pair of jeans that cost about $70 in stores for only $2. There is a method to my madness folks, trust me.
Also, if you feel uncomfortable undressing in front of strangers but are wearing pants of some sort, thrown on a skirt over it and try on the jeans that way. That's how I did it at the store. Just take a corner and take your time. Don't worry if people stare, because you might just find a pair of awesome skinny jeans for only $5.

Lucky Brand Jeans: $9.00

Yes, you read correctly, Lucky Brand jeans for only $9. This is why it's important, even if it's only an extra 10-15 minutes, TAKE IT. Try the stuff on any way you can, cause you never know what you might find! =D

Loco Linda's

Loco Linda Asymmetical Tank Top: $5.00
Ok, RUN TO LOCO LINDA'S NOW! They're having half of EVERYTHING. The $20 rack is actually only $10. Then sign up for the email list. I got a coupon in my email for $5 off $10 or more. Yeah. This tank top was originally $40. I got it for $5. COUPONS PEOPLE! Don't get lazy about printing them out, trust me! As much as I am a sale shopper, I am also a coupon clipper. I have a 13-section coupon divider, and I use about 10 of those sections for all different things, but you know what, it pays off in the end.
Coupons rock. Seriously.

And there you have it lovelies, some AMAZING finds from this week's little expedition. Don't be afraid to clip coupons, and do remember to pay close attention to everything, and if you have the time, go into a corner and try stuff on! Truly, it pays to be a smart shopper!

Good evening lovelies! I hope you all have been enjoying the warm weather that has been blessing San Diego and Southern California in general. For those that are back east, stay warm and out of the freezing cold!

This past Sunday and Wednesday I did not post because it was finals week As I'm sure you all can understand between working 6 days last week on top of trying to study and do project, school needed to come first!

Tonight though, I will be showing you all the most wonderful find from the rummage sale that occurred this past Saturday morning at Balboa Park. I want everyone to know that if you see a rummage sale going on, get there early. I don't care if it's going to be going on for 5 hours, get there a half an hour earlier than when it starts. I thought I could get there at 9:30 and still have plenty of time to shop. I ended up waiting in line for over an hour. Mind you, I found some amazing things there and it was definitly worth it, but had I gotten there at 8:30, I probably would've found more things, and had more time to shop, since it was only going on for 3 hours.

Now I know for next time, as do you all. Remember, get there early!

Amazing Rummage Sale Find

Amazing ship mug: $2.00

This lovelies, made the waiting in line COMPLETELY worth it. This mug is AMAZING. It trumps everything else we got at the sale. No one will mess with anyone using this mug. This mug is like, a sea captains best friend and drinking buddy.

Oh yes, I want to be a sea captain.

I also found an amazing old-school book with "Anne of Green Gables" and my boyfriend found a new modem for only 50 cents!!!!!

And there you have it lovelies. If you ever see an ad or anything, go for it! You never know what you might find!

This coming Sunday I will not be posting because I will driving up north after a 12-hour shift to spend Passover with my mother. I will be posting next Wednesday night.

Until next Wednesday, good luck with braving the weather, and do pay attention to what I wrote about with body types. You just might be interested in such things.....

Mother superior jumped the gun

Good evening lovelies! I hope you had an amazing week!

Tonight I will show you all an amazing find that I actually have at my work.

Wednesday, when I get the camera working, I will show you all the amazing treasures I found at the massive rummage sale that went on yesterday morning at Balboa park. It was well worth the hour wait in line!

When you work for Cirque

Women's striped t-shirt: $29.00

This shirt is absolutely adorable. I admire it every day when I work. I think this is an amazing find, because it is very chic yet still very funky with the writing on the side.

Alright lovelies, there you have it! Wednesday, I will be bringing you something very special so be prepared, and bask in the marvel of this fantastical shirt!

Hourglass Body Type + Outfit for $50 or Less!

Good evening lovelies! I hope you all are doing wonderfully this late late evening/early morning, wherever you are!

Tonight is my final post on body types. I have gone through the other 3, and tonight I will be talking about the most popular and well-known one, the Hourglass body type.

A very famous Hourglass is Selma Hayek. She is just stunning, and knows how to dress her body like nobody else!

Hourglass Body Type

"Hourglass curves with a definite waist. Weight gain occurs around the waist"

Fitted, well tailored clothes, emphasis on waist line.
- Tailored jacket with one button fastening - Cap sleeves, flutter sleeves - Boot cut jeans or wide leg pants - Pencil skirts - Fitted sweaters - Soft, fine fabric blouses

Hourglass Body Type Outfit

$50 or Less

Solid V-Neck Tee: $6.50

This color looks lovely on almost all skin-types, and it works very well for an hourglass because they can wear anything just so long as it's balanced on top and bottom.

Buckle Waist Belt: $6.49

The important thing to remember with Hourglass body types is that the waist MUST be defined. If the curves aren't defined, then they'll just look sloppy and big, when they're actually just very curvy.

Sequin Party Skirt: $10.99

This skirt is very fun, and works perfectly because it's fitted to show off curves.

Stella Gladiator Sandal: $14.99

This shoe is adorable and goes with everything.

Poppie Jones Monticello Leather Clutch: $9.99

Perfect for any party, dinner, or when you're not in the mood to carry around that heavy tote!

Total: $48.96

There you have it lovelies! Enjoy the rest of your week! <3 <3 <3

Inverted Triangle Body Type + Outfit

Good evening lovelies! Today, I am going to talk to you all about another body type: the Inverted Triangle.

This is what I am. When I learned about how to dress my body type, it opened up my eyes so much it was astounding. I suddenly understand why I looked so bad in pictures sometimes and why I looked larger than I actually was.

Inverted Triangle

Body Type

Shoulders broader than hips. Flat rear. Weight gain occurs in midriff, breasts, and tummy. Need to add fullness to lower half of the body, creating the illusion of an hourglass.

- Flared skirts or
boot-cut pants
- Halter tops, avoid spaghetti straps or pencil skirts
- Diagonal, wrap tops
- Brighter colors and prints on bottom. Solids on top

Inverted Triangle Outfit - $50 or Less

Taffeta Trim Dress: $10.99

This dress is absolutely perfect. It looks like a halter, and it has a lighter colored ruffled skirt bottom. I couldn't have made a better dress for this body type myself.

Cuffed Suede Boots: $17.99

These are just amazing, and with the color on the bottom, all the attention will be drawn away from your top half and will fall on the waist and below.

Grommeted Faux Leather Bag: $10.99

When a cross-body bag is of a brighter color and it falls at the hips, it gives the illusion of wider hips. This is perfect to add to the illusion of an hourglass figure.

UO Rhinestone Charm Necklace: $3.99

This is just freakin' adorable, but still packs a punch of attitude.,price&navCount=217&navAction=jump&color=&pushId=SALE_YARDSALE_LASTCHANCE&popId=SALE&prepushId=&selectedProductSize=

Slouchy Ruffle Over the Knee: $4.99

I have an obsession with over-the-knee socks. Any detail below the waist will draw attention to it and not up top, so these are also perfect, and just adorable.,price&navCount=217&navAction=jump&color=&pushId=SALE_YARDSALE_LASTCHANCE&

Total: $48.95

There you have it lovelies! Until tomorrow! <3

Sickness and such

Good evening lovelies! I hope you all had a marvelous week. I apologize, I won't be able to post this evening. My fantastical boyfriend has gotten me sick and I have school all day tomorrow.

I will post tomorrow during school, given of course that I am well enough to go by then. I have been popping C all day! Viva la C!
