How opposed are you to grand theft auto?

Yes lovelies, it is true, I am a Twilight fan. Maybe fan isn't a strong enough word. Last year when I was living in student housing, a roommate started reading. Me being the bookworm that I am, I picked up Twilight one day and started reading. The second book I read in one sitting one night when I was supposed to be sleeping. I got less than an hour of sleep that night and happily worked a full day at work the next day. Just to show how much I love the books....

New Moon followed the book. I am very happy to report that I loved it! I'm very excited to see how they're going to do the 3rd installment with Jacob's part! YAAAY! I LOOOOOVE Twilight!

To celebrate the release of New Moon, I have decided to do a New Moon-inspired outfit. I absolutely adored Alice's birthday party outfit and wanted to recreate it the best that I could.

Seen in the daylight

Good morning lovelies! I know this may seem a bit odd, me posting so early, but I am posting to let you know that I will not be posting this evening. I have to work until 11 and then I am immediately getting on the road and driving up to my mother's house up north. There are some very important things I must take care of tomorrow which require me to make the 3-hour drive and then I must wake up very early tomorrow to do those things.

I promise you though I will post tomorrow after I get those things done, and it will be a fantastic post.

Hot tea and nyquil

Hello again my lovelies. Yes, it is true, after weeks of claiming that I could not get sick after my boyfriend got the hort one since the Nyquil will be kicking in soon. Goodness knows waking up with the keyboard flu and I came out scot-free and smelling like roses, I have finally gotten a stuffy nose, sore throat and congestion. Don't worry, you won't get sick from reading this.

This one is going to be a simprinted on my forehead is not the way to start off a Monday workday.

I don't know if you knew this about me but, like most of women nowadays, i'm obsessed with boots. I can't wear anything else to work. Nothing is as comfortable. Nothing goes with everything else. My boots are my lifesaver! I work pretty flats once with gel inserts and my feet were hurting at the end of the night. I wear my boots all day, 9 hours, no pain. This is why I'm always on the lookout for cheap and adorable boots that I can wear to work.

Yes my lovelies, I have found such boots! And all for less than $50! Woo-hoo!

BOOTS!!!!!!!

I do love myself some Target. I can always find a good deal there on something I want and need and will love. They have provided once again.

Big Girls Don't Cry

Good evening lovelies! I apologize about not posting last night; I was going through some very serious personal issues that took all night to sort out. I promise I didn't forget about you all though!

Just to make it up to you, I have handpicked some of the internet's most amazing deals from some very underground brands and not-so-well known sites.

HOT Online Deals

$50 or Less!!!

Johnnycupcakes.com

First and foremost, we have the amazingly amazing and still somewhat underground brand Johnny Cupcakes. It was started by a guy named Johnny in Boston, Massachusetts back in 2000. Instead of selling out to main-stream corporations, he has decided to keep his brand with its quality intact. He has 2 stores in Boston, and one in Los Angeles.

Really funny story about Johnny Cupcakes; when I was still living in New Hampshire, i used to go to Seacoast Outright. One night there was a guy named Thomas wearing a Johnny Cupcakes t-shirt with a cupcakes and crossbones. Yes, you read correctly, a cupcake and crossbones on the front of his black t-shirt. I saw that shirt and complimented him on it. I didn't remember many things about going to Outright, but I always remembered that shirt.

Fast forward to about 4 years later, I was sitting in my Brand Marketing class last week when a classmate presented about a little brand called Johnny Cupcakes. The minute I saw the cupcakes and skull bones on the screen, I remembered that shirt and googled them. Then, of course, while watching Attack of the Show (Cause I'm secretly a nerd like that), they presented a segment on Johnny Cupcakes.

Needless to say, you all should go check out his website, and if you're near one of the stores, stop in!

How awesome and environmentally friendly is that??? This website also hosts work of various artists from around the world and includes sustainable and recycled fashions as well as home decor. Everything you purchase from the site also goes to help preserve even more rainforest! Go on and do good with your bad self.

Masquerade. Paper faces on parade.

Hello again lovelies! I hope your November is going well. I can't believe it's already only a few more weeks til Thanksgiving! I swear, I blink and a whole day goes by.

For all of you who have been so diligent to read my blog, I have prepared a special treat for you today.

Anthropologie! Yes, you read correctly, Anthropologie, for under $50. Some said it couldn't be done, but I, yes I, have proved them wrong.

As I sat in front of my computer tonight trying to determine as to where I should find the goodies to bring you lovelies, I realized I hadn't looked at Anthropologie.com in a very long time. 2 clicks and a heartbeat later, I was in their Sale section, and I have found gold!

HOT Online Deals!

$50 or Less

Anthropologie.com

I remember the first time I was introduced to Anthropologie.com. It was the summer before I went off to college, and one of my mother's friend's daughters told me about this fantastic, artsy website that I would love. The moment I got home from hanging out with her, i went online and fell head over heels. Since then, I have dreamed of setting up a cot in the back of the warehouse and just living there. No one would notice, I hope...

"First Glance V-Neck"

$19.95

While I can't wear yellow, for those of you that can, I strongly suggest this top. The twist in the front isn't just there to make it look pretty (Ok, that's part of it), but it is also there to camouflage any tummy issues you may be having. This top will make your girls look amazing and instantly take off about 5 pounds in the front. For those of you that can pull of this top, do it, you will not regret it.

http://tiny.cc/s6Ho0

"Galaxy Fold Top"

$19.95

I can't say enough about this top. I fell for it the moment I saw it. A: The design is amazing and utterly adorable without being too overpowering and girly. B: The rouching will help make your tummy appear much smaller. C: The ruffle on the side is the ultimate cherry on top. For those of you that are a bit more hippy, this top will accentuate it a bit more since it's clingy, but the black will have a slimming effect. This top NEEDS to be in everyone's wardrobe.

http://tiny.cc/kUo5z

"Herbacious Cowlneck"

$19.95

Essentially just amazing. The print is lovely, the sleeves help conceal any problem arm areas you may not like, and the neckline is flattering on anyone. I recommend wearing this with a big funky crystal pendant and a nice pair of dark skinnies with knee-highs and you will half a fail-proof outfit.

http://tiny.cc/Snyt7

"Crimini Cap Belt"

$19.95

This is the most adorable belt I have seen in a very long time (And i work with them!) The elastic part is simple and summer-time chic, and with the leather buttons, it just becomes this funky statement belt that will look great paired with a dress and heels or with a t-shirt, jeans and boots. This truly feels like a timeless belt that could've came from any time period.

http://tiny.cc/XEvTs

"Crypress Fringe Sandals"

$29.95

If you all haven't already noticed by now, I have a small obsession with anything tribal, vintage, or earthy. These sandals are no exception. They are fantastic while being a steal and would work for all different styles. You could easily pair these with the yellow top shown above or even the polka-dot one depending on the outfit. These are fantastic must-haves for the warmer weather, so snatch them up while they're still around!

http://tiny.cc/CxOS2

"Claudette Slingbacks"

$19.95

Last, but not least, these slingbacks. At $19.95, how can you go wrong? I mean, really and truly, the flower is adorable and adds a vintage touch to these otherwise simple slingbacks. The interesting cut design also adds a dose of personality. These are subtle yet still sexy and fun. Don't be surprised if you see a picture of me wearing these sometime in the future.

Also, just to let you lovelies know, Nordstrom's Rack is having a MAJOR sale on jewelry. I was able to pick up a lovely green beaded strand necklace for $2, but i get my extra employee discount so I can't really show it, but nonetheless, go digging folks! We're also having major deals on Men's shoes and Women's too, but ESPECIALLY check out the jewelry! You'll fall in love and not break the bank! See you soon! =)

One Fine Wire

Hello again lovelies! I must apologize for not posting Sunday night. I've been working non-stop since I got my job at Nordstrom's Rack last week. I've been working so much I completely forgot Sunday night! Silly me; I remembered Sunday morning but then after I got home I was so tired i just passed out.

Not to worry lovelies! I have put together a massive collection for you today to make up for Sunday's post.

Since I'm working in the Accessories department now, I thought I'd do an accessories-themed blog post. Also, since it's now November (Where did the time go?!) I've decided to give you all lovely Gift Ideas for $50 or less! =D YAAAY!

Great Gift Ideas For $50 and less
betseyjohnson.com

I'm going to be honest. I have a secret unadulterated love for Betsey Johnson. She appeals to the hardcore girly-girl that lives deep down inside of me. I like to pretend that side of me doesn't exist, but every time I walk into her store I can't help but get caught up in her fun, funky mood.
After scouring her Sale section, I have found these lovely items that will compliment any outfit and add a bit of personality!

Mismatch Bird & Bow Earrings: $17.50

http://www.betseyjohnson.com/store/productdetails2.aspx?productid=7370&np=9066

Mismatch Dagger & Bow Earrings: $24.50

http://www.betseyjohnson.com/store/productdetails2.aspx?productid=7428&np=9066

Polka Dot Butterfly Ring: $32.50

http://www.betseyjohnson.com/store/productdetails2.aspx?productid=7451&np=9066

The other thing that I really love about Betsey Johnson is that, yes, her pieces do range a bit more on the pricier side, but they're so catered to personalities that you don't need another gift once you buy a pair of her earrings, or a pair of her shoes, or a ring for your friend or loved one. Her pieces are very very bold. Giving a pair of her earrings is a large statement because you're catering to that person's personality in such a way that it says a lot.

Macys.com

I've always had a thing for Macy's. When

i moved out to San Diego

and got my own Macy's card, that's I actually became somewhat addicted. They have fantastic brands at really great deals, and I just love the feeling of knowing you bought something from Macy's.

Anne Klein Davis Driving Moccasin: $34.50

http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=160490&CategoryID=17592

These shoes are absolutely fantastic and have a bit of old-school spunk to them. They add a certain class and worldly-know how with a bit of sensibility and color mixed in. I do believe there is also a 90-year old inside of me trying to get out, but I don't care. I'm in love with these shoes, and you should be too.

Modcloth.com

From the moment I discovered Modcloth.com about 2 years ago I've been drooling over their inventory. I believe they are excellent at keeping ahead of the current trends while still making one-of-a-kind pieces available.

Lonesome Dove Necklace: $5.99

http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Womens/Accessories/Bags/Brick+Lane+Bag+in+Green

Overstock.com

I think it's pretty needless to say how much I love overstock. I go on at least once a week to see what kind of deals they're having. Overstock has never let me down yet, and I've bought many pairs of shoes from there. One of my favorite pairs of boots originally cost $160. I got it on sale for $15 and the shipping was free. THAT'S why Overstock.com has my vote of confidence.

Bird Cage Electroplated Copper Earrings: $15.39

http://www.overstock.com/Worldstock/Bird-Cage-Electroplated-Copper-Earrings-Kenya/4348137/product.html?recommendation_id=a48d7a35-cf73-4407-94f4-6c03f48cc350.1

piperlime.com

Piperlime.com is an exciting array of accessories that always seems to draw me back. I dream of the shoes they have there, and with their sale section having just taken extra markdowns, now their lovely shoes and accessories can be affordable for everyone! =)

Etienne Aigner "Ravine" Shoes: $39.99

I'm going to be honest, these shoes were sought out because of Ellen Page. Yes, you heard correctly.

This is the image that inspired me. The moment I saw this image, i said "Oh my god, I need a pair of those shoes". Truth be told, I want that outfit because of how amazing she makes it look. I've always had a love of oxford-esque shoes and wing tips, so really this was more just icing to the cake.

No, but seriously, I want those shoes. Badly. Channukah present anyone?

Alright lovelies, here are some of my gift ideas for you. Don't worry, I will not forget to post again, and as it draws closer to the holiday season, I will keep on posting away and giving you all more wonderful ideas! Happy shopping! =)
