The yellow, the mirrors, the break

Good evening lovelies! Due to my recent move up to the beautiful Ventura, I have been unable to post as my cables were packed away until yesterday morning.

This blog post is dedicated to every beautiful, fierce woman out there who has experienced heart break yet has kept right on going. This is for you.

This evening, as I am a shoe girl, I am going to talk about 2 very popular trends right now: yellow shoes, and mirrors. By mirrors, I mean mirrors used in outfits. Beyonce's most recent video showed her in an outfit of all mirrors, and claw shows in the same design. A lot of stars have started wearing mirror-esque clothing. I'm going to show you the easiest way to wear this trend, as most of us aren't going to go out in a dress covered in completely of mirror pieces.

They call me mellow yellow

One of the things that I love most about yellow shoes is that it's an easy way to add some color to an outfit. A small pop of color goes a very long way, and they're just so sweet. You can't help but smile when you see a beautiful pair of yellow shoes. I own a pair of canary yellow kitten heels and they are my go-to for any outfit that consists of mostly neutral colors.

For $50 or less

Let's be honest here; do you really need a reason?

Adorable, and wearable for every age.

Adorable, and combining both yellow AND mirrors in this one. Also, they look very comfy.

Absolutely adorable, and remind of me orange creamsicle pops. Yum!

This is more of a mustard-yellow and not quite so bright, so for those that are nervous to break into wearing yellow, this is a good way to transition since these are a great deal more neutral and will help you adjust.

Absolutely adorable, and they look comfy as anything. These will be a great shoe to run around in and still look adorable. Also another way to ease into the yellow trend since these are a bit more toned down in the shade of yellow.

Mirror Mirror..
$50 or Less
Since this trend is much harder to wear as a top or a bottom, it's easier to accessorize in this before going into a full dress.

Very middle-eastern and fun. I get a very Cleopatra-esque vibe from them. Totally eye-catching and gorgeous and really just the perfect compliment to any adorable little summer dress when heading to the boardwalk.

Long pendants have always had a place in our hearts throughout history, but they are especially popular right now. This is in my opinion one of the easiest ways to transition into the mirror trend because you're just throwing on your pendant, something you do often, but instead of your cameo or stone, you're throwing on this gorgeous key, that happens to be a mirror.

Gorgeous and sassy. They give off almost a mod feeling to them, yet still wearable for almost every style. These are so fun, totally appropriate to throw on with a white t-shirt and jeans, as well as that little black dress and heels. A very fun twist on a classic black and white circle earring.

The gold border is all sophistication, but the shape of the earrings, and the cut of the mirror stones is all funky. These are truly for any age, as they are very sophisticated and perfect for an elegant dinner, yet still have that funky feel that make them so perfect for a night at the club as well.

Adorable, and with the perfect touch of mirrored perfection.

Elegant and earthy yet fun and perfect for any outfit. The easiest way to add a big dose of bling.

And then there's this beautiful little top, and the perfect way to ease into wearing mirrors on your clothes. The color works with almost every skin tone, and the mirrors are just so perfect, yet not overwhelming. Perfect for any occasion.

Break

Now, for those who know the feeling all too well, here's a little ditty to help brighten your day.
